So finally I got to go back to England. The second time I went back to do my MA in London I remember meeting this woman in the queue at the student dorms, I swore she had just queue-jumped, well needless to say she became one of my best and dearest friends.

Within 5 minutes, maybe 10, just maybe 15 she was already mentioning Sam, her then-fiance - again needless to say this is the wedding. All done in the amazing setting of Christ's College in Cambridge with friends and family...

Here she comes....

Me and Mr James...

Jackie, James, Becky and Dom. Dom and Jackie are going to be lawyers - so many layers!!!

The cake!

Jackie and Dom looking fantastic!

Jake, John and Sam - pondering...pondering...

And I caught the bouquet? No... but I did get temporary custody of it..

Jo and James and some of that yummy cake Jo's mom made...

Jo and Alex - he does look sharp!

Jo and her 'new' in-laws John and Jenny!

Me and Sam

Alas! To be next to Mrs Jo, after all those years!!!

The group! It was so nice to have caught up and to have been able to come to a great event like this. Naturally, after the ceremony, the camera was stowed away, dinner was served in the Senior Common Room, drinks were had, a club was shamelessly visited and a nice fry-up the next day washed it all down. Jo and Sam went to Cuba, where they were not swept away by a hurricane! But such a privilege to be back and to be with people who love each other so much...

Enough prattling already I know!

Back to earlier in the year...
